New Mining Character - Neural Remap and Attributes

The first step to a speedy skill training plan is to properly set up your character's attributes. All new characters receive 2 free neural remaps. It may be a good idea to hold off remapping the attributes right away if you're not sure what you would like to specialize at but if you have a general sense of direction, then there's no need to waste time.

Having a mining (or industrialist) career in mind, there's two ways that neural remapping could be done. The first way would optimize skill training for all of the "support"-type skills that are generally needed no matter what career path you would choose down the line. All of the Engineering, Electronics and Mechanics skills that are needed to fit and maintain your ship use Intelligence as the primary attribute and Memory as the secondary. Maximizing your Intelligence attribute followed by Memory is usually the best course of action for a long-term skill plan to train all of the basic support skills. Once you have trained all of the core skills, you can remap the attributes once again to speed up the skill training of whatever career you choose.

However, knowing that I will be focusing solely on mining, I have remapped the attributes to train all of the Industrial skills as fast as possible. And Industry skill require Memory as the primary and Intelligence as the secondary attribute. Of course, I won't be training just Industry and Mining skills, but overall the bulk of skills will be the Industrial ones. Having Memory attribute maxed out, followed by Intelligence will help me get behind the controls of a Retriever sooner.

Now continuing with initial set-up:
